But my parents started calling me to clarify the nerd in-jokes on the show, and so many of the jokes they passed on where hilarous to me like the "I'm the Norse Thor, NOT the Marvel Thor" etc. that I ended up staying and really enjoying it. If they could just ditch the canned laughter (which becomes painfully, PAINFULLY distracting when you watch the whole season straight through on the DVD) and cut a few of the clunky one-liners, I think this show could have a lot more merit.
