When we launched "Save Hiatus" in 2008, we went with a large 3-row, full-color format which really gave Adam room to stretch his artistic abilities. It also forced him to give up sleeping, so in 2009 we changed to the one-row B&W format and upped the publication days to three a week. These strips are Vol. 1, from back in the day. To stay under budget, propmaster Lou "Louis" Adamson swiped items from every other show on the network after hours, which is why the medical bay was full of exercise equipment and the alien races all wore designer dresses and Manolo Blahniks.
