WALKER’S LINKS FOR JUNE 4, 2008
I’ve been asked to put together a list of “links of the day” for the readers, and as arbitrary and inefficient as this obviously is, I unfortunately don’t see that I have much of a choice. If you were going to be smart about it, you’d set up your own RSS feeds and get the news you actually care about. Of course, I’m not sure why I’m trying to delude myself that people are going to start listening to me now, though.
Here’s the list.
- Simpsons confirmed for record-breaking 20th season, meaning they will now suck longer than anything has sucked before.
- Speaking of which, this blood-spraying billboard for a showing of “Kill Bill” in New Zealand would be a lot cooler if the Simpsons hadn’t done it first. Now where’s the Itchy and Scratchy Movie?
- Torchwood has been renewed, but only for a 5-part miniseries. Figures.
- 50 Flaws of Indy 4. It’s a start.
- The rumors of John Connor’s fate in “Terminator 4″? McG denies them. But then, he would.
- io9 rounds up all the spoilers about “The Dark Knight” in one place. Spoil yourself!
- Feel-good post of the day: SkyOne has posted a bunch of behind-the-scenes BSG designs. Sweet.

I do the same for readers of my blog in a much easier way. I use google reader to check my favorite feeds. The things I find most interesting I mark as “shared.” Then I run a feed for the shared items as a sidebar on my blog. Check it out: davidsaysthings.wordpress.com.

Hey man, Simpsons is still great it’s just a different type of great. It used to be funny and matter, and now it’s just funny. Can’t fault a show for falling below a high bar it created for itself when most other shows of it’s kind haven’t even seen the bar.
