And so our empire begins …

Ok, maybe that’s reaching a little. But we did have two really positive, unsolicited reviews today. Barry Smith at InkTank.com made us his first “Featured Toon” since his recent return to webcomics. Barry calls Save Hiatus “a real treasure,” and says it’s both well written and well drawn. I’m a fan of Barry’s work, and he’s been around this business for quite a while, so getting kudos like that is not something we take lightly!

We also got a mention in Jay Garmon’s Geekend blog at TechRepublic.com. His post is about the drive that’s already on to save Dollhouse, months before it’s scheduled to premiere. (It is, after all, a Joss Whedon show on Fox). Jay brings up our strip as “a delightfully gleeful parody” of this crazy cancelation dance we go through all too often.

Thanks to Barry and Jay for the kudos!

Chris and I have decided that since we only post the comic twice a week, we should at least try to offer you some sort of entertainment or information on a more regular basis. So we’re going to try to give you all at least one interesting blog post each weekday. And we’ll wrap each post up with a links-of-the-day list, personally chosen by one of the Save Hiatus cast members. So, without further ado …
